The controversy over the unemployment figures in the U.S. is not going to stop. The unemployment rate has indeed declined despite a decline in recruitment. According lenquête conducted by the Ministry with companies, the U.S. economy created 115,000 more jobs than it destroyed in April. Or 25.4% less than in March, and a figure lower than the estimate of analysts (162,000). A trend that confirms the investigation of the slowdown in hiring in the private sector alone.

Curiously, this poor performance has not prevented the official unemployment rate to fall by 0.1 points compared with April, amounting to 8.1%, its lowest level since January 2009, according to the Ministry of working. This decline is a surprise since the median estimate of analysts gave unemployment stable at 8.2%. Government figures show that the decline in unemployment has resulted primarily from lower rather marked in the labor force. According to investigations conducted by the ministry of households, the number employed appears to have declined for the second consecutive month, just slightly slower than that of people unemployed.

Qatar Airways may order other than Boeing and Airbus

The CEO of Qatar Airways has expressed interest in studying the case of aircraft developed by countries such as China, given frequent delays at Airbus and Boeing.

Akbar Al Baker, who regularly criticizes two giants of the aerospace industry not to take their time, said Monday that delays of up to three years had thwarted growth plans of carriers in the Gulf region, which now constitute much of the Western demand for appliances.

Qatar Airways has ordered the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the Airbus A380 superjumbo and the A350, three devices that did not meet delivery dates announced.

The airline has also ordered smaller devices to 150 seats, as the A320neo. She ordered 50 during Dubai Airshow in November.

Asked if he would consider buying Chinese equipment, Akbar Al Baker said: "Why not? If it is safe, effective, advanced and that it meets the requirements."

The Chinese Comac develops a 150-seat aircraft.

Industry leaders argue, however, it will take at least ten years before China can compete with Boeing and Airbus on larger aircraft.

Health spending should not increase by more than 2.9% last year. The target was held and even beyond. But if the city manages to medicine to save money, it's more difficult for the hospital. But the effort required for 2012 has been strengthened.

Good news. The national target of expenditure (ONDAM), indicator of the health expenditure control, was observed in 2011, for the second consecutive year. Savings have been achieved even, mainly due to the general practice.

"Under 2011, spending will be well below 330 million euros to the goal voted by Parliament. Specifically, spending on care city will be less than 300 million," said a joint statement ministries Budget , Health and Solidarity.

The hospital sector is more difficult to roll back its spending. "For their part, hospital expenditures do not exceed, after setting aside prudential funds, the authority of Parliament," the statement said, meaning that the ONDAM hospital has been held that using a gel certain appropriations provided by the state, primarily for public hospitals, for most of 2011.

The deficit of public and private non-profit improves slightly (0.8%) in 2011: 504 million euros against 508 million in 2010. For teaching hospitals (CHU), the largest public hospitals, the overall deficit improved by 15 to 329.4 million. Nicolas Sarkozy had hoped in 2007 a return to balanced operating accounts in public hospitals for 2012.

For the three departments 'performance' of 2011 "bodes well for the respect of ONDAM in 2012, for the third consecutive year." The goal for this year was, however hardened, precision required, and will be more difficult to hold, with a projected increase of 2.5% against 2.9% in 2010 and 2011.

The CSMF reacted to the government announcement stressed again that the bulk of the savings was realized by the general practice. "Beyond compliance ONDAM general ONDAM care is respected city for four consecutive years" and in 2011, savings totaled 612 million, "62 million more than expected," says union in a statement. He took the opportunity to claim back a "rebalancing" budget for the care of town. For 2012, the rising cost of ambulatory care was limited to 2.1% against 2.6% for hospital costs.

Minami-Soma, city of Fukushima prefecture, was devastated by the disaster. This small coastal town near the nuclear power plant has lost thousands of its inhabitants. The survivors are now wondering about their future. Many have already fled. Remain ghosts and memories.

That day, March 11, 2011, Naoto Kan, the then Prime Minister of Japan, was in the upper house of the Diet, where he answered questions from the opposition. Exclusive to L'Express, he tells how he lived and managed the disaster crisis.

The disaster cost the Japanese economy has plunged into recession. Japan's GDP fell 0.7% in 2011. The country now seems out of crisis. Growth expected to reach 2% this year. But this rebound is largely artificial.

Analysis: What is the Japanese economy?

The Fukushima nuclear disaster has brought discredit to the entire industry. Fear of nuclear is back in the public opinion of developed countries, pushing many governments – including Germany – have announced their willingness to exit this mode of energy production. Yet it is clear that today's nuclear industry is doing well. Besides the contrasting reactions in the West, emerging countries are determined to take advantage of the strengths of the atom.

In France, where 80% of electricity is nuclear, Fukushima has shaken public opinion. The debate on nuclear phase-out has made a great comeback. A year later, ecology seems the most overlooked of the presidential campaign. Environmentalists, advocates of a permanent exit from nuclear, are credited with less than 5% of the vote. Greece will be able to erase a portion of its debt

Posted in business success, connection, corporations, different, profitable by admin on March 9th, 2012 | Comments Off

Over 80% of private creditors of Athens agreed to participate in the restructuring of the country's debt will be reduced by 107 billion euros. The agreement paves the way for the release of a new international loan which will prevent the default. Three of the four ministers of the Greek far-right party Laos opposing the new austerity measures demanded by the creditors of the countries presented their resignations Friday, February 10

Greece can heave a sigh of relief. The plan to restructure its huge debt raised almost 84% acceptance of all its private creditors, including only 85.8% of bondholders under Greek law.

Result: some 107 billion euros over the 206 billion euros of Greek debt held by banks, insurers, investment funds and pension funds will simply be deleted. A very short term, the agreement removes the risk of default since the country had to repay € 14.4 billion on March 20. It also unlocks additional European assistance than 130 billion euros that will enable it to meet its medium-term future échéanches.

If Greece has avoided a default unchecked, this rate is still insufficient compared to the 90% target that was set by the government, explaining that he had to recommend the activation of collective action clauses attached to the bonds to be exchanged.

They are forcing carriers reluctant to accept the terms of trade and should be ultimately the acceptance rate at 95.7% said the Finance Ministry statement. "The holders of approximately 172 billion euros of bonds by Greek law" have accepted the proposal made by the Hellenic Republic on February 24 to exchange their debt securities against other securities whose face value was reduced 50% said the statement.

"I wish to express my gratitude to all our creditors who supported our ambitious program of reform and adjustment and shared sacrifices of the people in its historic effort" praised the Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos said in a statement. The exchange of specific securities to be held Monday, March 12 for bonds by Greek law, but an extension until March 23 was granted to holders of non-Greek right to present their response to the proposal. This delay does not allow those who have already joined to the bid to reverse their decision.

The partners of Greece indeed want the private sector do its part in the rescue effort of the country, with a contribution sufficient to provide debt reduction to 120.5% of GDP in 2020, a ratio expected to guarantee the country's return to solvency.

Successful restructuring opens the door to the contrary release 130 billion of loans provided by the euro area in late October. These two components, debt and bailouts, make up the second bailout of the country developed its international partners, after an initial infusion of 110 billion granted in 2010.

PSA Peugeot Citroën is the star of the Paris stock exchange today. Its title flies by nearly 10%, boosted by the announcement of cooperation projects and a possible alliance with General Motors. A PSA Peugeot Citroën plant in Coventry, UK.

The title of French carmaker PSA Peugeot Citroen flew Wednesday morning at the Paris Bourse, boosted by the prospect of an alliance with General Motors. At 10:10 (9:10 GMT), the value gained 9.80% to 15.80 euros and largely occupied first place in the CAC 40, which lost 0.29%. Analysts at Natixis bank have in turn raised to "buy", against "neutral" before their recommendation on the title, with a price target to 20 euros.

The French manufacturer, sentencing, said review "projects of cooperation and alliances" about which "discussions are ongoing". The site reported Tuesday LaTribune.fr advanced negotiations for a marriage with General Motors. Labour Minister Xavier Bertrand confirmed Wednesday that French was in talks with the U.S.. Florent Couvreur, analyst at CM-CIC Securities, said that PSA is among the largest European manufacturers "most isolated" and that furthermore it is difficult to generate sufficient margins in its core automotive operations. The analyst also puts forward the fact that the company Opel, GM's European subsidiary, "is in the same situation."

Analysts at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, "the first result of such discussions is the need for both companies to improve their position in Europe where all groups except two (Renault and Volkswagen) have recorded losses in the second half 2011 ". Thus, an alliance with PSA GM "could allow these two groups of strong synergies and economies of scale", such investments and R & D (research and development), for Mr. Slater. This merger would allow PSA to benefit from the GM position in Asia and the U.S. while the U.S. would have the opportunity through the French to build on small models, explains the analyst.

"GM-PSA could be the new Fiat-Chrysler", states Mr. Couvreur, while warning against a number of uncertainties. These include the future participation of the Peugeot family, the reaction of other PSA partners (Ford on diesel engines and Toyota in the "mini cars") and whether the alliance has held a probable reduction in overcapacity Europe. Analysts at the U.S. bank, however, wonder if this alliance fear materialize and warn that PSA longer needs this merger as GM, "given its dependence on Europe and its inability to cut costs fast enough ".

Greece is preparing to give its response to the Troika on Monday

Posted in Uncategorized, calculation, corporations, management, tidings by admin on February 5th, 2012 | Comments Off

The three party leaders of the coalition government in Greece have agreed on a reduction in public spending of 1.5% of GDP in 2012 and will give an answer to the proposal of credit ; the country's international nancial Monday at noon (1000 GMT).

"Political leaders should give an answer in principle tomorrow afternoon (European Union)," he told reporters Panos Beglitis, spokesman for the Greek Socialist Party (PASOK ) on Sunday.

They will then discuss the plan of the troika (International Monetary Fund, European Commission and European Central Bank) at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Lucas Papademos.

"There will be a meeting of political leaders chaired by Papademos tomorrow afternoon," said Beglitis.

The chief minister said for his part that the various managers of the government coalition have agreed on a reduction in public spending by an amount equivalent to 1.5% of GDP this year.

This includes measures to reduce salaries and benefits costs to make the Greek economy more competitive, he added.

He also confirmed the meeting of heads of coalition parties on Monday to conclude negotiations on the second aid package of 130 billion euros to be implemented by the mid-March to avoid a collapse of public accounts.

BAROIN OPTIMISTIC

The negotiations on the restructuring of the Greek debt held by the private sector rose "relatively well", said his side the French Minister of Economy and Finance, Sunday .

"I think it progresses smoothly on the part of private sector involvement to be made on a voluntary basis," said Baroin under the "Grand Rendez-Vous "Europe 1-Le Parisien-i> Télé.

"We would not get away from the level at which one must move the Greek debt in 2020, that is to say around 120%," said the French minister. And "it is because we do not withdraw these objectives that the discussions are difficult," he said.

"Anyway, it's later than February 13," continued Baroin.

February 13 is the deadline posed by the euro area to launch the operation, which should bring the Greek debt around 120% of GDP in 2020 against over 160% today.

The private sector should accept a discount of around 70% of its obligations under the exchange program of the Greek debt. This will help to lower than 100 billion euros of debt of Greece.

In exchange for a loan of at least 130 billion euros by 2015, the troika of institutional creditors requires further structural reform and further reforms of austerity authority to clean up its public accounts.

Troika calls including a lowering of wages in companies and supplementary pension, which measures face many political and union resistance.

In the absence of an agreement, Greece is threatened with failure to pay on 20 March, when mature 14.5 billion euros of bonds.
